Le Locle to Zäziwil

Today we left the French speaking part of Switzerland and moved into the German speaking part of the country. Before leaving Le Locle I took some pictures of the city hall and Duke and Rick went grocery shopping.

It was nice to see the sun and no rain today after having several rainy days. I’d rather have cold and sun than warmer weather and rain. Today we drove south and east through idyllic Swiss country side.

A view out the car window from near our hotel.
We stopped and bought picnic goodies in a grocery store along the way.
They sell colored hard boiled eggs in the grocery store.
Lots of Easter Swiss chocolate.
Picnic lunch at our hotel.

  1. Beautiful countryside! I would think that there would be a different look of the buildings as you change from French to German influence. Interesting choices at the grocery! Dyed Easter Agfa????
