Innsbruck in western Austria is in a stunning setting. It is surround d by snow capped mountains. Today we walked to the train station in Salzburg.
Caught a train to Innsbruck and then walked to our hotel.
Our hotel, the Goldener Adler is just down the street from this building. It is called the Golden Roof but it was actually covered with gilt copper tiles by the Emperor Maximilian in 1500.
We explored the town a bit enjoying the great weather and had beer and pizza for dinner.
