Tokyo, Day 2

This morning we had a great breakfast overlooking Tokyo on the 14th floor of our hotel. Then we did laundry. About noon we set out to do some sightseeing. We walked to the Tokyo tower, which is not far from our hotel and went up to the main viewing deck.

The Tokyo Tower was opened in 1959.
The views from the viewing platform were spectacular. In every direction there was city as far as the eye could see.

For dinner we went to a restaurant that serves only eel. Finding restaurants in Japan has been a challenge. We find one on line that looks good, but when we try to find it we can’t read any of the signs. So it’s a 50- 50 chance whether we will ever find it.

The Eel restaurant we ate at tonight. Roppongi is the name of the district we are in. For us it’s impossible to know the name of the restaurant.
One eel was quite good. The restaurant has their own special sauce.

After dinner we went to another Jazz concert at the Keystone club. The owner knows us now. He was very very welcoming.

Our concert. I think the drummer is older than us. All the magicians were really good.
