We made it home safe and sound! Yesterday was a very long day. We left the hotel in Taipei at 6:45, walked to the Taipei main train station and then took the AirPort Express train to the airport.
Our flights were rescheduled because of the typhoon. The only seats we could get in Premium Economy were middle seats and not together. But we were able to get bulk head seats in Comfort Economy on both the flight from Taipei to Seattle and the flight from Seattle to San Francisco. So that wasn’t too bad.
In San Francisco we took BART to Lafayette. Allison picked us up. Our truck was at their house. After a brief rest to visit, we drove home to Reno.
All that travel took about 24 hours. And because of the international date line it was all on Tuesday. It was a great trip and it’s great to be home!
