Malahat, British Columbia – June 25 – 28, 2018

Since Monday my brother and his wife, and my sisters and their husbands, and Duke and I have been sharing a beautiful rental house overlooking the water north of Victoria, British Columbia. During the day we have each done our own things and in between we have had lots of time to talk and enjoy each others Company.

Wednesday four of us went to Butchart Gardens.

Tuesday Duke and I hiked around Thetis Lake.

Thursday we hiked to the Goldstream Canyon Trestle.

  1. What is the Trestle Marion? Looks like an old railway line?
Can you name your siblings in your top photo for me please? I’m guessing Betsy is second from left of the photo.

    1. Mandy, the trestle is an old railway bridge over Goldstream Canyon. It wasn’t dangerous but it was a bit scarey looking between the railway ties to the canyon below!

On the left is Barbara and her husband Mike. Next to Barbara are Duke and Me, Next to me is my Brother Charlie and his wife Annie and on the right is Elizabeth (Betsy) and her husband Steve.
