My name is Marion Vermazen. I am a traveler, hiker, reader, Sun alumnus, computer geek, YouTuber, Spanish and French language student, knitter, weaver and genealogist.
We are staying just west of the central part of Puerto Escondido in the Rinconada neighborhood. This morning right after breakfast we walked down to the main Puerto Escondido Beach, Playa Principal. It was fun to see fishermen with their catch and all the pelicans waiting around.
The rest of the day we spent doing more relaxing, reading and swimming
Today we were even more lazy than yesterday. It was a wonderful day. Duke and I each finished books. Last night I posted our first YouTube video from Mexico City. Today I started on the next one. We had breakfast at El Cafecito, my favorite breakfast place in the world and we had piña coladas by the pool this afternoon.
In Puerto Escondido there is not a lot new to say each day because as we keep telling ourselves – Esta es la vida! Or Life is good! So I’ll just post a few pictures.
We had another perfect relaxing day today. We dropped off our laundry at a Lavanderia and then had breakfast at the same place as yesterday morning, Cafecita. They were as busy as yesterday. We had another long wait but it was worth it!
We spent the morning on our deck.
Later in the afternoon we went down to the beach. We had beers and I waded a bit.
We went back to the hotel and swam a bit.
For dinner we went to a restaurant called Nene and had a great fish dinner.
We had a very relaxing and wonderful day today. For breakfast we went to a restaurant we remembered as being excellent on our last trip to Puert Escondido, back in 2014, El Cafecito. We had to wait 30 minutes for a table but it as worth it. Our breakfast was excellent.
After breakfast we went up to our room’s rooftop deck. I worked on editing our next video and Duke read. It was a wonderful relaxing afternoon. The temperature was about 80 and there was a slight breeze.
Later we went swimming and enjoyed before dinner drinks.
